The Canadian Chopin Society will award a cash prize of $250 to a young pianist participating in the Virtual Music Library. All pianists under the age of 25 who have submitted to the Virtual Music Library in 2023 before July 1st will be eligible. The award is intended to encourage participation in the Canadian Chopin Society community by young pianists of all levels!
The winner of the award will be announced on July 10th.
The Virtual Music Library is a forum through which pianists of all ages can share their own recordings of works by Fryderyk Chopin with others. Pianists can submit a video of themselves performing any of Chopin's works.
