Third Round Results: Canadians Performing in the 19th Chopin Competition

There are 11 finalists in the 19th Chopin Competition in Warsaw: Kevin Chen will represent Canada in the final stage of the competition, taking place October 18-20. The 11 Competitors are:

4. Shiori Kuwahara – Japan

5. Tianyou Li – China

6. Eric Lu – USA

7. Tianyao Lyu – China

8. Vincent Ong – Malaysia

9. Miyu Shindo – Japan

10. Zitong Wang – China

11. William Yang – USA

Congratulations to all the competitors, particularly Eric Guo who also represented Canada in the third round.

Kevin Chen will perform the Polonaise-Fantasy in A flat major Op. 61 and the Piano Concerto in E minor Op. 11 with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra under Andrzej Boreyko on Monday, October 20th at 12PM EDT.
