The Virtual Preliminary Round of the
Sixth Canadian Chopin Piano Competition will take place from October 17-25, 2024.
The Sixth Canadian Chopin Piano Competition will include a Virtual Preliminary Round for all divisions. All applicants will submit a recorded video performance of their preliminary round repertoire by September 15, 2024. The videos of successful applicants will be shared online and adjudicated in the Virtual Preliminary Round. Up to 12 senior and 16 junior competitors will be selected to participate in an in-person competition in Toronto in January 2025.
