Recruiting Volunteer Social Media Assistant

The Canadian Chopin Society (CCS) is seeking a post-secondary music student to fill the position of Social Media Assistant. This is a volunteer position.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in preparing CCS announcements and updates

• Create social media content related to the society’s mission

• Participate in developing strategies for digital outreach and engagement

Requirements:

• Experience with Facebook and Instagram, including Meta Business Suite

• Strong digital communication and writing skills

• Musical background with strong interest in the music of Chopin

• Time commitment of 4 hours per week

• Remote work (availability to attend in person events in Southern Ontario is an asset)

Term: 

Initial term of 8 weeks, with possibility of long-term involvement leading up to the Sixth Canadian Chopin Piano Competition (January 2025).
