The Canadian Chopin Society (CCS) is seeking a post-secondary music student to fill the position of Social Media Assistant. This is a volunteer position.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing CCS announcements and updates
Create social media content related to the society’s mission
Participate in developing strategies for digital outreach and engagement
Requirements:
Experience with Facebook and Instagram, including Meta Business Suite
Strong digital communication and writing skills
Musical background with strong interest in the music of Chopin
Time commitment of 4 hours per week
Remote work (availability to attend in person events in Southern Ontario is an asset)
Term:
Initial term of 8 weeks, with possibility of long-term involvement leading up to the Sixth Canadian Chopin Piano Competition (January 2025).
