Kailyn Pan, 14 years old, started learning piano at the age of 5. She is currently a grade 9 student in St. Robert Catholic High School in Markham, Ontario. She has a strong passion and sensitivity for music and is a fast learner. Kailyn has won numerous awards in many competitions including 3rd prize in OMFA Provincial finals 2024, 1st prize in BTHVN WIEN International competition 2023, three 1st prize in Unionville Music Competition 2023, two 1st prizes in the Kiwanis Music Festival 2022, one 1st prize and two 2nd prizes in CCC Toronto International Music Festival 2022, 1st prize in the Crescendo International Music Competition 2022, Gold Award in the Northern Lights Piano Festival & Competition 2021, Silver Award in 2021 and 2020 Steinway Piano Competition, 2020 Canadian Young Artist Standards of Excellence Awards, Honorable Mention Prize in the 2021 Canada International Youth Piano Festival. She was a finalist in the prestigious 2023 Canada Music Competition. In addition to piano, Kailyn has a wide range of hobbies, such as drawing webtoon, reading, skating and swimming. Kailyn studied piano at the Yike Academy of Music with Prof. Yan Yang from 2015 to 2021. She has studied piano at the Yike Academy of Music with Prof. Aljoša Jurinić since 2022. Kailyn is currently a student of Dr. Michael Berkovsky.
