Yiyan Liu began his piano studies at the age of four and has been studying under the guidance of Dr. Michael Berkovsky since 2021. A dedicated performer, Yiyan enjoys sharing his passion for music with audiences across Ontario, where he has excelled in numerous music festivals. He was a finalist of the Canadian Music Competition (CMC), earned scholarship awards from the Ontario Music Festivals Association (OMFA),Unionville Music Festival( UMC)and Kiwanis Toronto this past year, and received an invitation to perform with Canada Youth Chamber Orchestra. Notably, Yiyan is among the youngest musicians to complete his ARCT with honors.

In addition to piano, Yiyan enjoys playing the flute, trombone, and cello, and maintains an active lifestyle through his involvement in various sports.
